1997 Show pictures

1997 was Billetproof's first year. Held at Albany Bowl in Albany, CA, the show was born out of necessity by Kirk Jones and Jay Ward, and was attended by 26 traditional cars and about 100 friends. It was not only the debut of the Billetproof show and it's unique, hand-crafted trophies, but also an expression of the growing old school hot rod movement. Music was provided by The Stillmen in the bowling alley's tiny, packed lounge. Shocked that people actually showed up, Kirk & Jay began planning for the next show.
