Billetproof Michigan
2004 marked the first year for Billetproof Michigan. Dubbed “Motor City Mania”, this Midwest installment of Billetproof had all the potency of the original West Coast version with over 150 rods, customs, trucks and choppers defying a wet weather forecast and coming out to the Springfield Oaks Fairgrounds in Davisburg, MI anyway. The Midwest crew made the California guys jealous by adding a swap meet and the now famous burnout contest that filled the once serene countryside with smelly smoke and flying rubber. Watch out for 2005, we're gonna rock the Midwest!

Billetproof NorCal
Antioch saw Billetproof grow yet again in 2005. Increasing its oil-dripping vehicle count by more than 150. The number of participants blew past the 700 car limit before eleven o'clock, reaching an astounding 779—by far the highest count in Billetproof's eight year history of Blood, Sweat and Gears. Not everyone was happy though, nearly 40 billet-clad fluff mobiles were turned away. Too bad! Those who made the cut had a blast checking out the sea of vintage tin creations. The level of skill, imagination and ingenuity reached all time highs as participants showed off their ever-growing abilities. And for the second year in a row, the Swanx aided the Billetproof crew in pulling off yet another day of rust, primer and grease. (Thanks to Moochie and Steel Phoenix)
