at Holiday Bowl with a 300 car capacity, the 2001 show
was sold out weeks ahead of time. After squeezing 320
cars into 300 spaces another 40 or so had to be turned
away. There were more rods and customs in the spectator
parking lot than had been registered at the first
year's show! Amazing. Another great sunny day of bombs,
booze and bands (The Dynatones and The Sore Thumbs) went
off without a hitch. The Retarded Sparks Car Club put
on a great exhibition, chopping a Model A Tudor Sedan
right in the middle of the show. But for the fourth time,
Billetproof would have to pull up stakes. The journey
continued.
